Cosmetics & Tribute

Titles and profile badges are earned through play: you can equip any you have the fame for. Username colours — and the premium titles marked with a price — are bought with ◆ Ember Shards in Settings → Cosmetics — once bought, yours for good. Nothing is auto-equipped.

Tribute

Whenever anyone buys Ember Shards, every player in the realm receives ❖ Tribute — 10 per Shard purchased, the buyer included, everyone the same amount. Nobody can pay for an edge over you; a purchase lifts the whole realm, and each player decides how to spend their own share.

Tribute buys boosts you compose yourself in Settings → Tribute: pick an effect, an amount, and a duration (1 min – 24 h) — want +27% XP for 8 minutes? +2% yield for a day? Both work. Boosts affect only you, one can be active per effect, and re-buying the same amount extends it. Prices scale with amount × duration.

EffectUnitPer hourMax
Haste−1s action time ❖ 50100
Success+1% success ❖ 20100
Yield+1% yield ❖ 50200 (caps +100%)
Luck+1% luck ❖ 3300 (caps +200%)
XP+1% action XP ❖ 51000

XP boosts get steeper above +50%: doubling the bonus triples the price. XP boosts apply to XP earned by doing things — gathering, crafting, fighting, casting — never to quest rewards. Each grant is announced to the realm with the buyer's name, or as "a generous patron" if they've switched on anonymous purchases.
