Bounties

Bounty Hunter

The Bounty Offices pay hunters to thin the wilds. Take a contract to slay a set number of one creature, cut them down wherever they live, then return to any office to collect your pay in Warrants and gold. There's no time limit and no way to fail — only the hunt. You must be Combat level 10 before an office will take you on.

The two offices

Two offices post bounties, each drawing from its own stretch of the map and paying to match the danger:

  • Wyckmouth Bounty Office — targets from Aldermoor and Sundermere. 30–90 kills for 1 Warrant and 90–270 gold. It never sends you after the Barrow King.
  • Sedgeholm Bounty Office — targets from Sundermere and Merrowfen. 55–135 kills for 2 Warrants and 220–675 gold.

Assignments lean toward your Combat level — you'll mostly be pointed at prey worth your while, with the odd stretch target. Bounty Hunter grants no experience of its own; the reward is Warrants, gold, and whatever the creatures drop as you work.

Running a bounty

You hold one bounty at a time. Every matching kill ticks the count no matter where you make it, and you can watch progress from anywhere. Don't like the target? Reroll it at the office — you get 2 free rerolls a day, and Standing with the office buys more. When the count is full, turn it in at either office to collect.

The Warrant shop

Warrants spend at either office. The Warrant of Passage is the big lever: while owned, bounties come 2× the size and pay 3× the gold (the Warrant payout is unchanged), so it's pure throughput for hunters who've settled into the grind.
