Ember Shards & Tribute

  • ◆ Ember Shards are bought in Settings → Ember Shards.
  • They buy convenience and looks, never power over another player.
  • Every purchase also gives every player in the realm Tribute (below).

What Shards Buy

UnlockCostWhat it does
Idle Extension: 1 month◆ 30Raise your idle cap to 60 minutes for 30 days. Buy again to stack another month onto the end.
Forum Signature◆ 50A one-time, permanent unlock: a short line of your own under every post you make on the forum. Written in the forum's own formatting, and held to the same rules as anything else you write there.
Avatar◆ 100A one-time, permanent unlock: upload a picture of your own, shown on your profile and beside your posts in the forum. Every avatar is reviewed before anyone else can see it, and you can change or remove yours whenever you like.
Clan Crest◆ 100A one-time, permanent unlock for your CLAN: upload a crest, shown on the clan's profile in place of its initials. Bought by the leader and owned by the clan. It stays if you leave. Reviewed before anyone else can see it.
Smart Casting◆ 100A one-time, permanent unlock: when your casting ends, whether the count finished or the mana ran dry, whatever you were doing before resumes on its own. Stopping a cast yourself still stops for good.
Steward's Ledger◆ 100A one-time, permanent unlock: view the contents of any of your houses from anywhere in the world, straight from the Houses panel. Viewing is read-only. You still need to be at the house to deposit, withdraw, or upgrade.
Quartermaster◆ 200A one-time, permanent unlock: your loadouts equip themselves when you begin a matching action. Start fishing and your Fishing loadout comes on; join a fight and your Combat kit does. Missing pieces are skipped, nothing is ever unequipped, and a free toggle in Settings turns the service off without losing it. It also raises your saved loadouts from 20 to 50.
Name change ◆ 20 A new name, any time. Your old one stays reserved to you for 30 days.

Tribute

  • Whenever anyone buys Ember Shards, every player receives ❖ Tribute: 10 per Shard, the buyer included. Nobody can pay for an edge over you.
  • Spend it in Settings → Tribute on a boost you compose: an effect, an amount, and a duration from 1 minute to 24 hours. Boosts affect only you.
  • Buying the same amount again extends it. A different amount runs alongside on its own clock.
  • Overlapping boosts add up, except XP and Endurance, which blend into what the combined Tribute would have bought at once (the composer shows the result).

  • Price scales with amount × duration; XP and Endurance get steeper above +50%.
  • XP boosts count XP from doing things, never quest rewards.
  • Fortune raises the odds that crafted and dropped gear comes out rare or better.
  • Luck raises drop chances everywhere, bosses included, but never gear rarity: that is Fortune's job.
  • Endurance slows wear on tools and gear; at +100% nothing wears.
  • Each grant is announced with the buyer's name, or as "a generous patron" if they buy anonymously.
