Fathom, The Unsounded
Combat level 1 · a world boss — its health pool scales with the raid that faces it. Its spoils go to those who contribute deeply — wounds dealt and wounds mended count alike — and are still in the fight when it falls; the fallen and the departed claim nothing. The deepest contributors roll for spoils more than once.

How it is fought
A skilling raid: it never strikes back, and nobody can die to it. One swing every 10s, hitting up to the tool's tier, and every point of damage pays 4 Fishing XP.
It is fought in 3 phases, each yielding to a different tool. Swinging the wrong one for the phase is always a miss — bring what you have and you can still take your turn.
- net — a Net 0–1, Sinew Net 0–4
- rod — a Fishing Rod 0–1, Ironwood Fishing Rod 0–5
- harpoon — a Harpoon 0–1, Tempered Harpoon 0–4
When it falls, every angler still at the fight who did their part takes home a spread of every fish they can catch — richer the harder they swung, with the rarest kept scarcer — and the deepest contributors roll the standard world-boss spoils on top.
