How It Fights

One swing every 10s, hitting up to the tool's tier, and every point of damage pays 4 Woodcutting XP.

That swing can be shortened to 8s permanently, one second at a time, with the two cadence unlocks sold for Heartwood at the Warden's Lodge. Each speeds only its own skill's phases.

It is fought in 2 phases, each yielding to a different tool. Swinging the wrong one for the phase is always a miss, so bring what you have and you can still take your turn.

1. tinderbox (a Tinderbox hits 0 to 1, a Bloodwright Tinderbox 0 to 7)
2. hatchet (a Bronze Hatchet hits 0 to 1, a Bloodwright Hatchet 0 to 7)

When it falls, everyone still at the fight who did their part takes home a spread from its sheet: every line at or under their level in that craft pays, richer the harder they swung, and the scarce lines kept scarcer. The deepest contributors roll the standard world boss spoils on top.
